General Directions:

A. Group Assignment.
B. In a group, you will create an appropriate activity, game, or toy for a specific age group.
C. Your group will write a short paper introducing your creation and you will present this to the class.
D. There are a total of 40 marks for this assignment.
E. The presentation will count for 40% of your final mark in Module 8.

Presentation and Written Requirement for this project are as follows:

1. Identify and describe the activity/game/toy and the age group it was developed for, including colour texture, sounds and what material it is made from

2. Developmental appropriateness: what does your creation offer and how does it meet the developmental tasks of the age group identified

3. Conclusion:

• How would you price this creation and would it be something you would purchase or is it something you would use as an activity or a particular age-group.

Your presentation will be marked out of 40 marks and it will be worth 40% of your mark for this module
